Independent Resources Inc. is a nonprofit Center for Independent Living that provides quality services to people with disabilities, assisting them to achieve and to maintain an independent lifestyle.

At Independent Resources, our unique perspective on disability services comes from our own experiences. Individuals with disabilities make up more than half of our workforce, our leadership and our board of directors.

IRI Delaware State of Delaware’s 2024 State Employees’ Charitable Campaign (SECC)

SECC Steering Committee has determined that Independent Resources, Inc. meets the criteria outlined in the Executive Oder 22 and is approved to participate in the 2024 SECC campaign. The campaign officially kicks off on September 1 and continues through October 31, 2024.

Governor Carney’s Executive Order 22 provides state employees with the opportunity to make charitable contributions, through single payment or payroll deduction, to organizations that render services that benefit the health and welfare of residents of the State of Delaware.

On Wednesday, July 23, 2024, the State of Delaware is hosting an SECC Kickoff event for our state agency chairs and captains. Details about the 2024 SECC Campaign and Executive Order 22 can be found on the SECC website at secc.delaware.gov.
